Self-motivated Product Design Leader with strong multi-tasking agile approach. Over the past 24 years my skill have grown from designing and developing websites for small entrepreneurial businesses to helping manage and growing a team of designers for a large scale retailers.

My team has been responsible for launching key strategic experiences in the Wallet/Payment and B2B tools bringing a cost savings of @ $60 million and streamlining processes to help save time and money.

Prior to design, I was an accountant doing taxes for small businesses and worked for a French owned investment bank in Chicago as a team lead.

my design journey

In collage I majored in fine arts (before the internet or personal computers), but also dabbled in architecture, interior architecture and theater design. What do all these have in common? I was designing moving people through spaces.

When the internet became a thing, I found it matched what I was looking for in a career...and my journey began.

Though I have spent a majority of my time in retail, I have had the opportunity to work in other industries and after a certain point whether it’s retail or banking I’ve gained the experience to solve your problems.

I got my start by designing and developing websites for local retail businesses. Back when I started most sites were “brochure” in nature, but over time I taught myself development. Utilizing PHP, I designed, built and supported websites for my clients.

More recently, I’ve gain experience in product management and designOps all of which has added to my skills.
